my September goals

I don’t know about you, but there is nothing I enjoy more than sitting down and creating a list of goals. Its something I do almost religiously, I have have a plan when it comes to achieving my goals, more about that in a future blog post 😉

With that being said, August is quickly coming to an end, and I love to set monthly goals.

Here are my goals for the month of September.

My first goal is to drink a gallon of water everyday for a month. This shouldn’t be too hard as I already drink a ton of water, but I want to really commit myself to a gallon a day. I have read so many articles about the benefits of drinking a gallon of water a day and I want to see if the claims are true and if so, reap the rewards.

My second goal is to publish two blog posts a week. I am taking this quarter off from school (sort of) and I want to really focus on building my audience, and writing quality content. I love to write and I have so much to share with the world, but I struggle with writers block sometimes, and my goal this month is to move past that.

My third goal is to start a YouTube channel, and upload one video weekly. I have always wanted a YouTube channel but was terrified of putting myself out there like that. I have spent years thinking about it, and dreaming about it and I am so excited to finally start pursuing my dreams. My channel will be mostly fitness based, where I share workout videos, workout splits, and everything else fitness related.

My fourth goal is to start drawing and painting. I’ve always wished I was good at painting or anything artistic for that matter, but that’s just never been me. I realized instead of just wishing that I was good at painting maybe I should actually try and learn how to paint. Painting just sounds so soothing and I can’t wait to learn a new skill.

My fifth and final goal is to read four books this month. I am trying to spend less of my free time on electronics, and spend more time reading or being creative. I love to read so much, and this isn’t an unattainable goal for me as I have already read four books this August. I find that I am happier when I spend time reading vs. watching TV.

What are some of your goals, dreams and aspirations? Do you find the beginning of a new month to be motivating?
