Dear Best Friend,

I know that sometimes it’s hard to see your own worth, and that we need a reminder of who we are. That’s why I am writing this post, so that you always have something to look back on and remind yourself of how amazing you truly are.

I love you M. Here’s to you.

You are a light of hope in this sometimes sad and dull world. You are ray of sunshine, that shines so bright you can’t help but make others around. you happy.

You have a contagions laugh, a laugh that makes me laugh so hard tears roll down my cheeks and I have a bellyache.

You are a joyous person. You have such a genuine love for life, and this world, and everything around you. You help me to stop and smell the roses, and take the beauty of everyday life in.

You drink your coffee black, and that makes you strong (and weird) in my book. Seriously, you handle the hardships that life has thrown at you with such grace. You lean on God, and seek Him to better understand the hard things in life.

You are fearless. You chase your goals with such enthusiasm and fervor, I know that you will achieve whatever you want in life.

In a world of social media, and constantly comparing yourself to others; you don’t care what others think about you. Something I am still learning how to do.

You are such a kind person. The sweetest most compassionate human being I have ever met.

You love wholeheartedly, I know that it can cause you to get hurt sometimes, but please don’t ever change. It’s what makes you well… you. Your wholehearted love is part of what makes you so special.

You have a passion for growth. You always strive to be the best version of yourself, and you know that there is always room for self growth. Not everyone is like that.

I know that sometimes we can all be a little hard on ourselves. So the next time that you are feeling down or discouraged, please read this. Please remind yourself of who your really are. Please try to take off the glasses of self-doubt and insecurities, and see yourself through my eyes.

You have changed my life. I am not the same person I was before I met you. I prayed that I would have a friend like you, and now that God has put you in my life I couldn’t be more thankful. I am so excited to create more memories with you, and to experience all of what life has to offer with you by my side.
